The booklet is another piece of the difficult research about the bronze numeral roman tessaras. The authoress describes the iconographic types choices made by engravers: she illustrates above all the ones having erotic subject-matter (the spintriae) in accordance with the sensibility of that time. Reading iconographic material we can understand that is not ever corresponding to a particular field of social life (for example brothel), as instead could suggest modern sensibility.
